Living at your maximum...daily disciplines
There are 7 disciplines you must develop if you want to achieve all that is possible for you. You can learn these disciplines through practice and repetition until they become automatic.
Goal Setting
Every morning, take 3 to 5 minutes to write out your top goals in the present tense. Get a spiral notebook for this purpose. By writing out your 10 goals at the beginning of each day, you will program them deep into your subconscious mind.
This daily goal writing will activate your mental powers. It will stimulate your mind and make you more alert. Throughout the day, you will see opportunities and possibilities to move more rapidly toward your goals.
Planning and Organizing
Take a few minutes, preferably the night before, to plan out every activity of the coming day. Always work from a list. Always think on paper. This is one of the most powerful and important disciplines of all for high performance.
Priority Setting
The essence of all time management, personal management, and life management is contained in your ability to set proper priorities and use of your time. This is essential for high performance.
Concentration on your Highest-Value Activities
Your ability to work single-mindedly on your most important task will contribute as much to your success as any other discipline you can develop.
Exercise and Proper Nutrition
Your health is more important than anything else. By disciplining yourself to exercise regularly and to eat carefully, you will promote the highest possible levels of health and fitness throughout your life.
Learning and Growth
Your mind is like a muscle. If you don’t use it, you lose it. Continuous learning is the minimum requirement for success in any field.
Time for Important People in your Life
Relationships are everything. Be sure that in climbing the ladder of success, you do not find it leaning against the wrong building. Make time for your relationships every day, no matter how busy you get.
Action Exercise
These 7 disciplines will ensure that you perform at the highest level and get the greatest satisfaction and results from everything you do. Study these 7 disciplines and then make a plan for how you can incorporate each of them into your daily life.

Nothing Without You
When I look at my life
It's clear I'm not the best
I fumble, fail and falter
I fail to pass the test
I often find my fingers
Entangled up in sin
But Lord I look to You
For your love will always win
Baba God I call to you
Please help me to stand tall
Because You are everything
You are my all in all

Cognito Psalms III
Thank You for singling me out for favor;
Each day I realize how good You are to me
And how I should never take anything for granted
Except Your unfailing love-
That I can take for granted, that it will always be available
On Sunday I heard a testimony
That demonstrates that ALL power belongs to You
Evil men plot all kinds of evil events
Against You Lord and Your annointed
But even in the midst of such plots
You plot their salvation
You demonstrate how you pay back evil with good
By saving the wicked soul
That man who was planning evil as a cultist
Eventually gave himself to You
You are a loving and kind God
Faithful and true in all Your ways
You daily load us with benefits
And enrich our souls with Your truths
Help us Father to dwell in Your presence
Constantly worshiping and communing with You
For there is no other place worth living
Than Your beautiful and wondrous presence
I bless You Lord

Cognito Psalms II
I laid my head upon my bed last night
Barely conscious or aware of my environment
Beyond my vision there You were
Watching over me
And outside and around my house
Your powerful angels guarding me
Even Kings and proud rulers
Cannot protect themselves when they sleep
They depend on men to do that for them
But I depend on You
And that is why I can sleep peacefully
I trust in you Lord
This morning I give You praise
I exalt you because you are worthy
Worthy of all glory, honor and exaltation
You are the excellence of wisdom
The essence of love
You are God

Cognito Psalms I
I will bless the Lord at all times.
Why? Because He is faithful and true.
When I look around at the world today
I am confronted by all kinds of things.
In some places, beauty, wisdom, creativity and wonder
But none of it compares to His beauty and wonder
In other places I see ugliness and suffering
But its all fades into insignificance when I consider the awesome love of God
He alone is worthy of our praise
He alone deserves all the honor and respect
Men fail and fall like leaves in autumn
Kingdoms rise and fall like the waves of the sea
They strive for perfection and honor and greatness
But all of that belongs to God alone
Nothing that exists makes any sense without him
He is the factor that completes the equation
Lord look down on me with mercy as I sing your praises
I am nothing without you
All the works of my hand I owe to you
You created me Lord with these abilities
I do not take it for granted
Help me to praise you continually Lord
Because you deserve it
When I am tempted to look away from you
And look down at the situations and issues that confront me
Help me to keep my eyes and my mind fixed on you
For in your Light, I have light
Your light is so beautiful
It is like the glow of the morning sun
It purifies me and sends me on my way
Showing me where to go and how to tread
The treacherous road of life
What would I be without you?
You are the beauty of creation
But you are greater than creation
I exalt your name today
I magnify you
I declare your praises in blog land
Let all bloggers and blog readers know
That you are a good God
I bless your name today Lord
And at all times

THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST
The metal blades cut Him so deep
The tears in His flesh began to weep
Tears of blood for you and I
Oh yes, for us, He came to die
A crown of thorns upon His head
“Hail King of Jews” the mockers said
His body quaked with intense pain
But all He thought of was our gain
His shoulders bore that heavy cross
Though weakened by the blood He lost
He staggered, stumbled, tripped and fell
Just so we might not go to hell
He screamed as nails pierced through His hands
Such pain to fulfill love’s demands
Thirsty, battered, wounded, weak
Yet love was all His lips could speak
“Father forgive them”, Jesus prayed
As upon Him our sin was laid
And as the life in Him diminished
He said at last “It is finished”.

Play your part!
Prayer is not the Answer
Sam Adeyemi
Prayer is good no doubt, however, in most areas of life, prayer is not always required. There are a lot of people who pray to God regularly with no change or improvement in their circumstances. This is because as much as God is all-powerful and can do all things, we have a part to play. Anyone who only prays without corresponding action will live a life of mediocrity. We abdicate our responsibility by asking God, through prayer, to do what we should do. God will not do for you what you can do for yourself. There are ways we can resolve issues instead of praying non-stop about them. God has endowed us with the power and creative ability we need to deal with life’s issues.
Here are some of the things we ought to do rather than just praying about them:-
Help people in need, if you have the capacity to do so, rather than just praying about their issues. Give a hungry person food not prayers.
· Appreciate people by saying thank you whenever you have been shown any goodness. Ingratitude closes the doors of opportunity and prayer will not open them.
· Where we need to add value to our lives, prayer will not suffice. Get an education or more education and don’t pray only.
· Be humble. James 4: 6; the prayer of the proud will not be answered because God resists the proud.
· Maintain personal hygiene and strive to look good all the time. Prayer will not solve the problem of achieving a decent appearance.
· Prayer is not the answer to prospering financially rather obey the command ‘Give’ Luke 6: 38. Pay your tithes and give offerings.
· Associate with the right set of people. Surround yourself with visionaries. Your life will not change or improve until you change your circle of influence.
· Speak the right words because words are creative. Our words create our destinies. After you’ve prayed speak positive words. More prayers will not make any difference.
· Forgiveness is required for prayers to be answered. Unforgiveness hinders our prayers from being answered. Matthew 6: 15
· Form the habit of saving part of what you earn; if you don’t save money, prayer will not help in times of hardship.
· Love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 19: 19. Where love is needed, prayer is not the answer. Prayer will not avail much when love is needed.
· Do not be stuck with the age barrier. Your solution to a problem might be with a younger person but trying to hold your position of seniority might deprive you of it while the problem lingers, prayer is not the answer. It is not by age but by grace. Job 32; 6-9.
· Deal with wickedness if you choose to have peace. Here also prayer will not suffice. The wicked person can never have peace.
· Where obedience is required, prayer is not the answer. Obey God, obey authority figures. Disobedience is as the sin of witchcraft.
· Learn to apologize whenever you are wrong; say sorry! Prayer will not replace an apology.
Don’t stop communing with God through prayer but learn to do your part by acting and God will do His.
